A Review of Friendly House

The Friendly House has been assisting women in their recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction for more than sixty years and relies completely on fundraisers and donations. This wonderful organization is a structured living facility for chemically dependent women that have been clean and sober for 3 days and truly want to change their lives and are ready to begin their recovery journey.

Since 1951 thousands of women have had the opportunity to obtain compassionate and effective treatment from the Friendly House. Because length of stay is based on the resident’s specific needs at the Friendly House, women may remain living in the facility for 30 days up to a year receiving the necessary help and support they need to be successful in their recovery from addiction.

The Friendly House in California offers chemically dependent women a recovery path based on the 12 Steps of AA and all the personal help, guidance and positive support they need to maintain long term sobriety and live independently. The Friendly House provides women with tremendous hope, encouragement and the strength they need to change their lives and embrace long term recovery.
