A Review of Addiction and Recovery Services

Individuals that experience Addiction and/or Mental Health challenges are provided the tools at Addiction and Recovery Services (ARS) that are necessary to enter into and sustain recovery from all issues that have a negative impact on their lives. Therapist Steve Brownrigg and ARS are committed to their clients and they specialize in Addictions, Substance Abuse, Mental Health Disorders and the Dually-Diagnosed Client.

Steve Brownrigg is a Nationally Certified Counselor, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. At ARS, their clients are encouraged to get the most out of other support resources like 12 Step programs, family support, medications that are appropriate, and spirituality. This helps their clients to achieve a satisfying lifestyle that doesn’t require the use of alcohol, drugs or unhealthy addictive behaviors that relieve symptoms of anxiety, depression, fear, shame and guilt.

Steve Brownrigg understands addiction. Steve began his own recovery from alcoholism in 1997. Co-Occurring Disorders is Steve’s major field of treatment. Individuals that have co-occurring disorders are challenged by both substance abuse/dependency disorders as well as other mental health disorders.

Steve opened his private practice Addiction & Recovery Services in 2006 and there are a variety of therapeutic disciplines Steve utilizes in his practice. Cognitive Behavior, Solution Focused, 12-Step Facilitation, EMDR which is Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing and other approaches are used in his work.
