And besides the health issues that seniors have, they need to learn the coping skills that will help keep them sober in a way that is appropriate to them. I think that all drug rehabs should be age-specific. I know that a rehab in Arizona called Gatehouse Academy serves teens and young adults exclusively. I couldn't imagine putting my teen in treatment with people in their fourties and I couldn't imagine putting one of my parents in treatment with a twenty year old. They are all at different stages in their lives and they have to learn the appropriate behaviors for their stage. Mixing them up will only cause more problems.</description>
